Descon Pilot OpenSpace nezvanicna konferencija

The first DES CON, a Pilot OpenSpace unconference, where contents is created on the spot by all participants, is taking place from Aug 21-23 in an artistic and experimental space, near Belgrade, ITS-Z1.

24 hrs Hackathon on Internet of Things (IoT) around fashion wearables, 3D printing, crypto puzzles, and privacy in the post-Snowden era. The hackathon will also include workshops and lightning talks.


Prvi Pilot OpenSpace nezvanicna konferencija pod nazivom DES CON ciji se sadrzaj na mestu kreira i vodi samim učesnicima, ce se odrzati ovog augusta pri Beogradu, u trajanju od 21 do 23 u umetnickom eksperimentalnom prostoru ITS-Z1.

24 casovni “Internet of Things” (IoT) Hackathon oko kreiranja tehnoloske i funkcionalne odece i naprava, 3D stampanja, resavanja kripto rebusa, kao sto su teme koje se ticu bezbednosti korisnika na mrezi u post-Snoudenovoj eri privatnosti.

Hackathon ce takodje ukljuciti radionice i kratka predavanja.

Mini bus on Saturday Aug 22 From Belgrade Hacklab to Ritopek; 12:00 am – arriving 12:30am / 23:00 From the venue to Belgrade city center
Transport from the venue back to Belgrade will be provided at 23:00 on Friday and 23:00 Saturday eve back to the center of the city for those catching a night bus back home.
Public transport: You can make your own way to the venue by public transport.
Taxis: Pink, Beo, Lux and Radio taxi options -it would take around 30 minutes from the city center to the venue.
Public transport: Bus 304 from Belgrade, Ustanicka street to Vinca and exit at Ritopek stop.
There is 500m walk up the hill from the bus stop Ritopek to the International Test Site venue - ITS-Z1 clearly signed with arrows.
Transport from Belgrade’s Airport Nikola Tesla to the center of town takes about 30 minutes. There are shuttle buses operating to Slavija Square (300 din), bus 72 (150 din) and taxis available as well.
There are few places we are holding for the DesCon participants in Belgrade at two nearby hostels – walking distance from where the bus leaves – which can be released. Friday and Saturday and Sunday at Hotel and Villa Alegra – walking distance from the hacklab Belgrade. Alternatively, if you wish to bring a sleeping bag and a tent there are limited camping spaces available up to 20+ places at the venue.
