In 2015, DesCon focus was on making a collection of wearable devices that measure and monitor data from our body, atmosphere and hide data and devices in a most imaginative way. We created fashion accessories that measure UVA/UVB with LEDs that alert us to high levels, devices with sounds that help blind hear different colours, etc.

In 2016 DesCon focus was on the IoT interoperability and device design, so we designed and built an interactive wifi enabled arduino device for all participants to write applications for securely sensing and exchanging nearby network data.

DesCon started as a parody on Defcon. Our aim is to stay true.
